A street hawker is a man who moves from place to place to sell his products. He is seen mostly in the morning period. Sometimes he sells newspapers also. Sometimes he sells various items for daily needs such as toys clothes, fruits, vegetables, earthen pots, utensils, and so on. He shouts the name of the items which he sells. Children are fond of him because sometimes he wears a strange pied dress, sings songs or plays sensational tunes on his flute, and sells kid's items. He walks along road to road from dawn to dusk. He is a man of dignity because he earns his bread by hard work and honesty. The service a street hawker does to our society is simply great. He presents the items that we need daily in our house. He sells his goods at very cheap rates. But sometimes many bad hawker cheats on customers. So, we should be careful of the street hawkers who cheat the people. A hawker lives from hand to mouth and leads a simple life. However, a street hawker should never be neglected. We should respect his work and never look down upon him.
