A coronavirus is a kind of common virus that causes an infection in our nose, upper throat, and lungs. COVID-19 is an infectious disease where "CO" stands for coronavirus, "VI" stands for the virus, "D" stands for disease, and "19" stands for the year when it appeared. In 2019, it broke out in China. The World Health Organization declares it as an infectious disease. The outbreak quickly spread around the world. COVID-19 is a disease caused by SARS-CoV-2 that can affect our upper respiratory tract nose, throat, and lower respiratory tract lungs. It spreads mainly through person-to-person contact. Infections range from mild to deadly. There are several variants of COVID-19 like Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, Omicron, Lambda, etc. The main symptoms of COVID-19 are fever, Coughing, Shortness of breath, body aches, headache, loss of smell or taste, and diarrhea. The virus can lead to pneumonia, respiratory failure, heart problems, liver problems, septic shock, and death. To prevent COVID-19, different organizations have invented vaccines. We should be vaccinated ourselves as soon as possible. We should maintain the rules of hygiene properly. Our hands should be cleaned regularly. Social distance should be maintained. If we go outside we should put on a mask. After maintaining all these things, we can hope to overcome such a terrific situation.
